Creative Mentorship
Creative people are both blessed and cursed.
They are blessed to be lit with a soul fire that wants to create, to participate, and to bring visionary ideas into being. And they are cursed because corralling that impulse can seem muddled, fragmented, and unclear much of the time.
Over the last 15+ years, I have navigated the discipline and practices needed to work through these common states to guide many media projects to fruition. Whether through film, writing, podcasting, or speaking, success requires a willingness to connect one’s creative artistry with their wider audience.
I have been blessed to encounter some excellent collaborators and mentors, and there’s plenty I wish I knew when I was starting out as a young media maker years ago.
And now, I’m pleased to offer mentorship in your career development and mythopoetic identify as an artist.
Mentorship Can Look Like:
Exploring the questions most alive for you as a creative. Where are you struggling? Where would you like more clarity?
How to develop your unique artistic identity and focus on the work that matters.
How to seek the right collaborators and financing.
Identify what stage your project is at and how to move it to the next stage.
How does your creative life intersect with your relationships and family?
Plus, pretty much anything else you might want to bring.
